"Practice It Again" is a song performed by American gimmicky worship band Elevation Worship. Written by Mack Brock, Chris Brown, Matt Redman and Steven Furtick,[2] the song was released as the first single from their 2017 album There Is a Cloud.[3] [4] Information technology was released to Christian radio on February 23, 2018. The vocal peaked at No. 6 on the US Hot Christian Songs chart, condign their second Acme ten single from that chart. Information technology lasted on the charts for 33 weeks, their 2d longest charting song.[5] The song is played in a B-flat major central, and 172 beats per infinitesimal.[6]

Groundwork [edit]

The earliest version of "Exercise It Again" was released on September 9, 2016, as role of the extended play titled Speak Revival.[7] The live version of "Do It Again" was then released on Feb 17, 2018, during the pre-club period of There Is a Cloud, equally the second promotional single of the album.[8] [9] It was recorded during the 12-mean solar day "Code Orange Revival" event in September 2016,[ten] held past Elevation Church building at its Ballantyne campus in Charlotte, North Carolina.[eleven] "Do It Again" impacted Christian radio on February 23, 2018, with an extended play containing the radio, live, reprise, acoustic and Castilian versions of the song released on the same day.[12]

Writing and development [edit]

Worship leaders and songwriters Mack Brock and Chris Brown had an interview with Kevin Davis in Reading, Pennsylvania for a 'Backside the Song' feature published on NewReleaseToday.[13] Mack Brock shared that the song was inspired by a sermon titled "Don't End on six" that Steven Furtick preached at a Hillsong Briefing, whereby Matt Redman identified a song concept.[13] Chris Dark-brown, in relation to the vocal's takeaway message, said "We desire people to know that God is faithful."[13]

Music videos [edit]

The lyric and acoustic videos of "Do Information technology Again" was published on YouTube on September xxx, 2016.[14] [15] The live music video of "Do Information technology Once more" which also includes the reprise, recorded at Elevation Church's Ballantyne campus in Charlotte, Northward Carolina was released on February 24, 2017, through YouTube.[xvi] The lyric video of the song'due south Spanish version titled "Lo Harás Otra Vez (Do It Again)" was released on August 21, 2017, via YouTube.[17] The live acoustic performance video of the song was then published on March one, 2018 via YouTube.[18]
